Embracing artistic creativity and sharing technical knowledge

Furthering Rural Adoption of Computers and Technology through Artistic Lessons

What is

Project FRACTAL?

Project FRACTAL is an education project that seeks to prepare youth in rural communities for our increasingly technology rich future. That future will require all of us to have knowledge of technology, artificial intelligence, and data in order to survive and thrive. In addition, that future will need creativity, inspiration, and innovation. FRACTAL leverages both technology and art in each week-long Expedition that will allow students to see themselves in that future. Built on deep collaboration with students and teachers, FRACTAL uses these Expeditions to generate interest and delight in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Ultimately, these Expeditions harness the spirit of exploration and discovery.
